I find it amazing that after 1000 years of struggle...the Irish gave up their sovereignty like they did in the Lisbon Treaty vote on Friday. Apparently they didnt vote the correct way the first time and the EU gave them the opportunity to vote the right way again, during a time of economic fear and uncertainty.
Shame on all of them! They will come to regret it, no doubt. I can see an American Style Civil War in the EU future, when some country tries to leave as the Federal EU becomes overbearing.
Doomed to repeat history.
